Hi I’m Ian

I live very near the Pennines and am surrounded by houses some of which have tall trees.

So the conditions here are cold, wet, and can be dark. Not perfect for growing food or flowers.
But I do my best and I’m learning about how to cope with the conditions I have.

Some years its good, others not so good.

Why not follow me to find out how I cope with a variety of issues from waterlogging to pests, to trying to be as organic and recycling as much as possible.
